round-eyed, absorbing
what the world offers them,
or silently wandering in their own
imagination,
must lose their innocence and grow
older but not necessarily wiser.

Its a constant worry as a parent, how our little ones will grow and learn ready to be set free into a world that may not even be here for them to become the very best they can be, but the most of all i hope they live to be healthy and happy in all they choose.
a lovely poem on children- the world only steals them of their innocense-10
