These Men In Suits Of Grey Poem by Gill Moore

They wage a war upon us
These men in suits of grey
Demolish whole communities
Is what we hear them say
They cover it in greenwash
And some are taken in
But it will damage the environment 
So don't believe the spin
Destroying all our wildlife and habitats as well
They tell us it's a vision
But in fact it would be hell 
The destruction of our estuary
Would be too much to bear
It is fragile and it's priceless
And for those of us who care 
We will battle for eternity 
For ever and a day 
For this special place
This  wilderness 
We will fight them all the way
