Come
Come
Come
Come here
And Listen
Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
The thundering drums
And the trembling earth.
They march for us
They come for us
Beating their drums
They want our voices
They want our freedom
They want our innocents
They want to break us.
But they can't have us
Our voices are our weapon
Our freedom is our strength.
They come for us
For money
For desire.
But we rise up
To snuff out their
Desire for us.
We have our support, our family
We have our own desire to live free
We have our fighting spirit.
So I say
Let them come.
Because we will be ready to
Fight for our freedom.
To raise our voice as one.
To live for ourselves and
To live for our love ones, our family

Interesting poem though I'm not quite sure who it is that is coming. Is it a realistic write where maybe we are needing to stand up for our rights as a whole, a nation? Or is it based on fantasy say as an invasion of an alien nation? Maybe a note to clarify or is it the poet's intention to leave it up to the reader? Either way I like it!
