The gap between the haves and have nots is widening every day
The poor getting poorer that does seem sad to say
So many poor people for every millionaire
And sad to say of that too few seem to care
Millions of displaced people in refugee camps in the poor World out there
The homeless and Stateless not wanted anywhere
By warlords and droughts their homelands destroyed
A fair go in life to them has been denied
The sun burning hotter in the clear blue sky
And with the onset of global warming the poor multiply
Climate change hurried on by people of greed
Who never serve Nature but only their own need
They may be seen as wealthy and successful but they lack in common sense
Those who become financially well off at the Natural Environment's expense.
