They Made Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

They Made

They made

"They killed and buried him like a dog, "
-he said, tears fell, then he wiped.

He, is a Hazare
-not Afghan but Afghan

Then questioned:
- "Who, what is an Afghan? "
- "Who gave name and for what? "
- "Since it was Britain, can mean dog? "

Took the torch and led me
-into darks, history's
-Abdurrahman's

"Then he lived in Russia; "
-he told me and went on:
- "…agreed the two powers,
-London and Kremlin in Moscow,
-to play a shared game…
-for that needed puppet…
-…and he was most favoured…
-could be run by them two…
-as are toys of remote…
-tell him kill and will kill…
-if you want it kisses…"

And we roamed in the cave
-he answered my questions
-and always extended:
- "He shed so much blood…
-that can make seas, skies…
-turn red and maroon as…
-is Sun in Hindukush and Nimruz…"

He sounded poetic
-most his words were rhythmic
-a humble poet in, verse making.

I listened to his words
-that is when heart broke.

"He was told to remove,
-enemies, Jihadis who took arms
-to clean India of filth of Brutal,
-the so-called governor of the East-India,
-and that was nothing but dagger, sword
-in the hearts and throats
-of men of care and more…"

All the words were about first ruler
-agreed on
-by Brits and Russia

Narrator found I was not aware
-slowed down:
- "In nut shell, so-called king of chess-game
-was to kill all rebels against him, his master
-or rulers of London, Britain…
-and he was successful…
-first step for him was killing the Hazare,
-which he did…thanks our own masters
-who mastered betraying and killing…but
-ourselves…not others…"

Neutral sounded man, the experts
-who held torch and candles…
-taught me of what went on,
-what happened
-during the kings and the puppets
-then to now…
-everywhere, all over…

"We are known as Afghans,
-but afghan is not known,
-unless in the dog-form! "

Then made joke:
- "We ouf as does the dog,
-we cry, also whine …
-put pieces, unite them…
-see meaning of Afghan…"

That was joke.
