They Say I'M Going Home Poem by Old Teenage Poems

They Say I'M Going Home

On a train
Endless wievs flying by
A hundred miles per hour
Heading towards a lie

Behind me I'm leaving
What I cherish most
A family at heart
I left on the coast

Through waters of eternity
Of time and space and life
I travel towards the past
To become somebody else's wife

They say I'm going home
But that is what I'm leaving
The only bagage I'm bringing
is an empty lonely feeling

I've left what's left
of me
