Thief Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Thief

Take 'Thee' awayeth from me.
The sight and presence.
Of a wicked and immoral,
Beast.
Thief of hearts.
And minds left to bleed of reality.

How and why can 'Thou' permit to exist,
One born from a poisonous and tainted vine.
To strike and inflict,
Venom.
With this to intend.
Without intervention to stop and end.

What is this to observe it witnessed.
Twisting to leave trusting minds tormented.
Left sickened and betrayed.
To feed one narcissistic.
Treasonous with an ego.
And known to decay everything touched.

Taketh awayeth this beast of a thief.
Pass upon it 'Thy' hellish of judgements.
Pass upon it,
A squeezing of every breath...
This demon You have allowed to breathe.
Or lock it up to cage.
For the rest of its days.
In a solitude that is kept.
To prevent the enjoyment,
This thieving beast...
Creates to feast upon devastation.
With a doing for the attention.
And destruction of humanity.
Just to feed a taste,
Of regurgitating to spew...
Insecurities unable to face.
Or will ever be capable to self examine!

Take 'Thee' awayeth from me.
The sight and presence,
Of a wicked and immoral beast.
Gifted is this thief of hearts.
And minds left to bleed of reality.
Too numbed to notice,
What to them is being done!
