Thing Called Love Poem by Joseph J. Hernandez

Thing Called Love

Say I'm attractive I'll reply with a thanks
Then start to believe it after a few dranks
I might give in to her distracting eyes
Tonight I begin to believe her lies
So, there's my number, call me on the phone
WARNING, my hearts been rebuild of stone
Am not too smart, but on a hunch
This thing called love don't mean much
