Thingified Poem by Newton Ray Ukwuoma

Thingified

Thingified

Here truth lies
On tinted smiles and hollow dimples
Here time flies
Piercing dreams with unscathed spears
Here tears reign
Bull mastiffs tied to a stake
Here the road breaks
A tossed dice on a grassy crossroads
Here lions bark
The spittle relics of a thirsty lot
Here gods obey
Jolly frenzy of carved beliefs
Here we are things
Space-bound crafts of a hostile agenda
