Think Downward Poem by Twisted Moon

Think Downward

Make them appear
Appear in shades of white and off-white
Remove the lingering fear
Give us the light, so bright
And as the shadows trickle back
Remind us to be brave
Entering a world of ash and black
To your soul, your body, a slave

End the world of the scared and lonely
Light our way through the night
Intend to tell me you love me only
Zebra fur is black and white
And in the end we are all creatures
Be what you think is best
Elucidate your finest features
Take away all the rest
Hell lies beneath your breast

Make them appear
Come to us in shade of white and off-white
Make them appear
And tell us all what is right and not right
Hell is coming for us all
Only the flames will be our light
Never forget who you are before you fall
