This Dream Poem by Katheryn Foley

This Dream

He was handsome mixed with pain.
Washed away on a city train.
She was pretty but she had blame,
Tripping through life with her shame,
He had loved once before,
Had the privilege of happiness,
But that was taken away,
Whisked from above,
And now sent out to find his one true love,

She has never been happy,
She has never been loved,
This poor unfortunate soul,
Had to learn to rise above,

While running away from her troubles,
She ran into 'he'
With tears in her eyes she fell to her knees,
He awakened her from this dream,
Picked her up with his strength,
Nestled her in his arms,
And saved her from this darkness,
