It hurts,
Yet it feels so good.
I'm terrified,
But not afraid at all.

It's like a waterfall.
Overflowing and rigorous,
Yet calm like a lake.
Serene and beautiful.

Whether it's platonic,
Or perhaps romantic,
I do not care.
I feel it nonetheless.

I feel it when I read your messages.
I feel it when I'm lazing around.
An entire flutter of butterflies,
Settling in my stomach.

I feel it at the strangest of times.
I feel it at this moment.
A whirlpool of emotions,
Swirling around in me.

I love it,
I cherish it,
And hate it.
Because I don't know how to express it.
