This Gallery, This Garden Poem by james watkin

This Gallery, This Garden

Hangs a butterfly's eyeline beneath
Another gaudy example
Of God's technique, unsigned by Him.
Of such works there are ample;
And of their conoisseurs hosts and hosts.
Gold are the gates that open,
Mornings, for the privileged many
This gallery, this garden.
