This Internet of
broken links and vile trolls is
becoming futile,
rather than edifying.
This Internet now
abounds with way too many
trivial things. It's
an idiot's lantern like
TV before it.
It spreads much information,
but seemingly not
much in the way of wisdom.
This Internet of
sound and image pollution,
is awash with junk:
with garish advertisements,
pictures of cats and
conspiracy theories.
This Internet is
like Pandora's box with all
manner of evils
allowed to escape into
cyberspace. And yet,
I guess, in many ways, it's
a double- edged sword.
Notwithstanding its failings,
it allows me to
connect with the world, without
having to travel.
And for that, I am grateful.
