“This is the first lie I’ve ever told you”
The first time caught is always the first lie told.
It sounds much better in the dark.
I ask for your answers but seek my own truth
you make it fit so much better than me.
I offer one hot tear for your lie before I turn to ice.
My numbness is mistaken for strength
accustomed to deceit I make it look easy.
my silence turns you in on yourself and you fold
I can do nothing worse than you can do to yourself.
