This Is The Shadow



'This is the shadow,
This is the great shadow, '
I jump in an ecstasy
And go to catch it,
Soon the shadow begins to retreat farther and farther
And it laughs at me,
'You fool!
I am just a shadow,
I am always unsubstantial and meaningless.'
