This Lasting Love Poem by Reza Ashofteh

This Lasting Love

Reveal the tall pine,
it is winter
And my heart is crazy
After your visit

I am laughing in the sky and flying pigeons
I laugh at night, how long are you dark?
My heart desires bright moonlight, and cute steps

Come on, don't be so cute to me
At the foot of that tall pine, we are reminded once again
I make kisses for you in love

In this dark passage, you become the light of my heart
I am glad to see you, and one more day when the notebook becomes full of love
You and your hands are pressing my heart softly in love

Ask this pine
From this long winter night
From this lasting love…
