This Little Guy Poem by Phil Soar

This Little Guy

There's a guy that's become a part of me
And one I can't resist
Such happiness he's brought me
That I thought could not exist
He never fails to make me smile
No matter what I do
Just the thought of seeing him
Excites me through and through

He isn't even two years old
It matters not a jot
Because he's in the heart of me
Though he's a little tot
His giggle gives me shivers
And he makes me want to shout
He's like a raging river
In the middle of a drought

He's needed to light up the day
And bring on so much cheer
And as we pass our time away
It's good that he is near
So may this little guy be blessed
With all the world can give
He always leaves us so impressed
For the life he's so far lived
