This Next?

I no longer have a scarecrow
In my cornfield and tell you why.
One day, last year, late October,
'Woke' people happen to drive by.
They stopped and threatened me, sternly,
If I don't take the scarecrows down,
As they scare the children who see them,
They'll report me to woke police in town.
You'll no longer see my scarecrows
In my corn field on Halloween
All because this woke government
Finds them, too, frightful to be seen.
