I came across an old letter
I had wrote to you, so long ago
It told of so much love
I was looking for ways for it to show

In this old love letter
Even I was in a bit of an aww
How could someone hold love so strongly
For someone they seldom saw

This old love letter
I had wrote it from my heart
But you never got to read it
For you said we must part

The love wrote in those lines
I still feel here yet today
But you had to move on
Not even hearing what I had to say

Oh we may never get to know
On just what might have been
But I'll always have sweet memories
Of you and I my sweet friend

But this old love letter
Has stood the test of time
And caused me to write these words
Except this time in a rhyme

This old love letter
Is like a treasure to me
Hidden await for many years
Just to bring back sweet memories
