This pain is not yours to bear,
I'll carry it for you.
I'll hold it close and keep it near,
So you can feel free.

This pain is not yours to hold,
I'll take it in my arms.
I'll shield it from the world so cold,
So you can feel warm.

This pain is not yours to cry,
I'll shed the tears for you.
I'll let them fall like summer rain,
So you can feel blue.

This pain is not yours to fear,
I'll stand beside you.
I'll face it all with courage clear,
So you can feel new.

This pain is not yours to fight,
I'll fight it for you.
I'll never give in, never give up,
So you can feel true.

This pain is not yours to lose,
I'll win it for you.
I'll never let it take you down,
So you can feel new.
