Once I lived a life full of dreams
We all had dreams, this to say
Climbing this ladder for this cause
Alas! , that ladder, we all climbed
On the way I saw men, women, young and old
Until you whispered, hey! ,
Never did I raise my head to behold
Paddling through this river course
Fading away into the dark light
Those hopes, lights that welcomed laughter
Had all gone - gone away
Together we brought this curse on us
Together we toiled this land in hatred
Songs of war echoing around
Resorting to the dripping of water
Water, water everywhere - streams of blood
Where is the future?
The future of our children unborn
Only if we come together as one
Then shall lost hope be restored
And our problem be solved forever.
