I've seen a man
Who lives by the gods curses
The land he walks; ashamed of him
Even birds have refused singing
Booing rather as the enemy passes
I'll till the ground and await the gods
To shed its tears and make it soft
Oh, not just tears but flowing water
I'll till the ground
When the gods stop crying
This is the man I've seen
I've seen a man
This dog snores when others watch
And so when its time to reward effort
He stretches first for it
Fool! , he says when he gets nothing
Spits and curses the land
The land which has emmitted so much
Until you wake up from your sleep, ....
Look at the top, see how wet you are
Amendment! , the land cries
Else we bring you down and join us
This is the man I've seen.
