There Is Still Hope Poem by ernest hilary

There Is Still Hope

Rating: 4.0

Behold, I behold that great home
Once dreamt and hope for
Where father and son laugh like friends
Mother and daughter on same path thread

That home
Where strangers are families
People stand for the truth
The truth found in the lips of everyone

Oh that home!

Behold this home
Whose foundation is love and trust
Raised on the pillars of sincerity and hardwork

The labour of our fathers past
Those heroes who have this master plan be
The architects of our cause
To build this home
Shall never be in vain

Behold, I behold a great home
Conducive for all and sundry
Behold our Great Mother Africa.
