This Side Of Me (New) - Poem by Sharjeel Shahid

There were so many things i wanted to show,
no more time,
no more crying,
nothings prime,

I didnt want you to see this side of me,
but you dont stop...keep on trying,
you're tired of unmasking me,
and it continues...until we choose,
but i know its hard for me to walk without the boose,
once im high, im ready to cruise,
just hoping to avoid another bruise,
scared of letting my deeper true side, out on the loose,

no more shying,
no more trying,
theres nothing left for me to whine,

i know i hurt you,
slapped you with a tigers paw,
but i was mad,
for cutting the rock heart with a saw,
the position im in...all is raw,
i let people drink my blood...with a straw,

its a feeling you wont get, wou would regret,
cause there is no clear point of view that i can draw,
now i feel, i rank my self, even above the law,

but i wont do what every one does,
to every crime he justifies,
shitty lies,
as he cries,
sympathies rise,
the hard way is what he chose,
every shot, he screws and blows,
it breaks my heart as i write this prose,
no more tears in the hose...of my eye,
my frustration rose,
then i take another dose,
that was not what for me..u had chose,

but thats what destiny is,
slowly unravels as it shows....
