We live in a world with so much hate
Everyone tries to make a fierceless escape
Suicide, drugs, alcohol, and more
We think 'is there anything left to live for? '

Everytime we get up
Someone pushes us back down
Will we ever get off the ground 
If we're always being held down

We live in a world that passes by quickly 
We can't give up and be weaklings 
But i, myself, have an inkling
That we can make this world a better place
Stop living safe
Show no tears and stand up to your fears

Who are they to tell us that there's something wrong with us? !
Black, White, Asian, Hispanic
We all live on the same planet
Gay, Bisexual, Straight
We're all perfect the same way
Catholic, Gentile, or Jew
Someday we'll find out which is true

If today was your last day
Could you say you give it your all,
Or did you just sit down and watch it fall?
