Thorny Path Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Thorny Path

The Paths open wide
You begin your ride
The paths are never straight
You walk and find the paths take you right or left
While you tread may turn red
Thorns may prick your feet
As you walk down the street
You have two choice
You may raise your voice
Coax your destiny
Feel like engage yourself in a mutiny
Or just keep quit
Tears may flow down your cheeks
You utter no shriek
You are to put on a silent fight
Before all the blood ooze out of the body to turn you white
On a thorny path I am destined to tread
Oh the angels of the heaven lit my face with a smile before I fade
Where I know not
But I hope my ashes will lay on a pot
Which may be strewn on the Himalayan glacier
My soul would have traveled afar!
