TheSilent Loudness

Those That Matter - Poem by TheSilent Loudness

The ones we care about the most
The ones who touch our hearts and souls
Those few that have all the power to show
The way to true happiness and freedom

Those few were taken right from us
Without a fight, without a fuss
They knew right then their time had come
They left without a word, no explanation

The innocent, the gifted ones
Stripped away from a world they loved
A change that makes me wonder
If we really did enough

They came to show us to have faith
To lead us to the right of way
The selfless souls, only caring for others
If you could speak to them now, what would you say?

What is lost but never understood
Which once was there but was taken from
A world which still desperately needs saviors like you
The world stops turning without you, we will never fill your shoes.
