Those Who Talk Of Winners And Losers Poem by Francis Duggan

Those Who Talk Of Winners And Losers

Those who talk of winners and losers do not know of what they are talking about
The reaper makes everyone equal he never leaves anyone out
Of his egalatarian book of appointments for each of us there's a last day
In death everybody is equal on that the reaper has the final say
Those who talk of winners and losers are losers themselves in the end
Your money cannot bribe the reaper the reaper to none is a friend,
The monarch, the president and the billionaire their appointment with the reaper must keep
The reaper makes everyone equal he never differentiates when he reap
Those who talk of winners and losers are not well informed 'twould seem
To talk of their brothers and sisters in such a disparaging manner is proof of their own sense of low self esteem,
They are what's known as shallow people those who like putting poor battlers down
They do not have any depth to them they are the loudmouths of the Town
Those who talk of winners and losers they sound like a poorly sung song
But the reaper is the one who decides and the reaper he does prove them wrong.
