Those Who'Ve Cared Poem by Tobbie WhiteBird Crowe

Those Who'Ve Cared

I'd like to sing a song for you
To tell you how I feel.
That how friendship, you've shown to me
Is felt so very dear.
That each and every word and deed
In kindness you have done,
Brings from me a prayer to God
To let His blessings flow.
Cause its the only way I know
To thank you for your love.

I wish that I could write great words,
So long and meaningful;
That someway would let you know
How much you have helped me.
But somehow when the time does come
For me to speak forth praise,
The words don't seem to mean enough
And thank you seems so plain.
So to God I turn again
On you His blessings rain.

I've tried to think of many ways
To show how much I care.
To see if I could somewhat repay
The love you've freely shared.
I wish I could explain to you
How much it's ment to me,
But words and deeds just aren't enough
So again I bend my knees;
And ask our Lord, please bless you friend
For your love in guiding me.

For in this world it's the little things
That really mean a lot.
And often times we do not see
How we have helped someone.
For just in times of greatest need
Though we may not realize it,
Just to show we really care
Can keep someone from dying.
I saw in you God's love for me
It helped me trust in Him.

I saw in you God's love for me
It gave me hope to live.
