The Ananda, Ananda
Of the world,
Delight,
Delight Divine,
God, my God,
Ananda, Paramananda,
Delight, Greater Delight

And when sad and sombre,
Into the gloomy moments
Of despair,
I turn, turn to Thee,
Turn, turn to Thee, my Lord,
Lord,
Thou art Ananda, Paramananda

When the dark gloom seems
To be encompassing
When time hangs it heavy upon,
Who is it, it to be, to be by our side,
It is Lord God Thou, who art, who art
Whom find I buy our side to be with.
