Thought Imposed Distances? Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Thought Imposed Distances?

distances are interesting
faith also has distances...
the distances hearts impose
between compassion kindness...
forgiveness love live choices
identified promoted esteemed...
by all great teachers prophets
who advocated love for neighbours...

why therefore must you harden hearts
slay souls over mere thought distances?
is not hunger thirst of all human lives
not unlike yours we all eat drink or die?
is not the cry of all babies not a life call
black white yellow all lust for life milk?
