I wonder how the world began...
And how did life come about?
Who determines fiction from fact?
Can you help me out?

What was I before my birth,
And what exists after I die?
If all begins and ends the same...
Why do we try and try and try?

What purpose will I serve
If I can choose my way of life?
Am I to follow a path of fate,
Or do I decide my ease or strife?

I wonder if the world will end...
Then for what did life amount?
What is real and what is not?
Can you help me out?
