You give me the strength to go through each day
Making me happy, through every single way
Your smile is enough to give me hope
Tying me to you, just like a rope

You taught me many things, especially love
Fluttering free, on the wings of a dove
Love is like a child, follow it and it will go away
But let it go to you, then forever will it stay

In the past, I have missed many things
But now for you, my heart always rings
Months have passed, and days have flown
Together with your beauty, I have grown

The person that completes my day is you and you alone
It might not be with me, but go to where you belong
Throughout our lives, we have shared moments together
I hope these will continue, now and forever

The seas may rage on, and the wind may blow hard
But from what I feel for you, there will be no shard
You might wonder, 'Why just now? '
I'm sorry my dear, I didn't know how

My love for you will stand the test of time
But feelings like this are like a dime
Sometimes it will face up, sometimes it won't
Sometimes they triumph, sometimes they don't

You might not love me, you might not care
But I will never forget the love that we share
Things in the past, things in the future
From all of these things, one is for sure

The person I cherish, they always ask who
Time and time again, I always say you
