Here I sit among the shadows,
dreaming of the things we'd do,
heart hit hard by cupid's arrows,
lost within my thoughts of you,

Here I lie upon the ground,
the world seems like a noisy zoo,
singing softly to the wind,
lost within my thoughts of you,

Here I walk along the cliff,
wishing I were close to you,
thinking, praying, for a moment,
lost within my thoughts of you,

Here I stand alone and scared,
the world seems dark and colder too,
dreaming of a different time,
lost within my thoughts of you.
