Three Little Words Poem by Samantha Glovier

Three Little Words

Rating: 5.0

You ask me to marry you
and I said yes!

Now I wonder if it was for the best.

We argue and fight so much it seems or is
that only in my dreams?

What is real and what is fake or is
what we did a big mistake! ! !

Do you love me like I love you or is it
a phase we are going through.

We say words that hurt us so we would
be better off to let it go.

I love you with all my heart, but the
things we say are ripping us apart!

What can we do to stop the pain it's
been nine years now and
it's not a game!

I haven't won and neither have you
if only we can see our dreams
have come true.

I have you and you have me and
together we will always be.

Instead of the painful words we say I
suggest to you we do is
just say....

I LOVE YOU! ! ! !

I thought your poem was going to end like this: Instead of the painful words we say I suggest to you what we do is pray. I love you :) (That always helps!) Just some friendly advice! Very heartfelt poem Samantha. I've been there....marriage is tough untill you get things running smooth. I wish you and your husband luck. Sincerely, Mary
