Three-Eyed Goddess Poem by Mark Heathcote

Three-Eyed Goddess

Divine Mother, on your tiger, fortifies my heart.
Slay demons of ego with your ten arms thwart.
Let your left eye control my greatest weakness-
Desire the right spur me on to righteousness.

Goddess Durga, whose middle eye of knowledge-
central align, alight my path on the road to virtue.
With all the people of the world. I meet in tutelage
I am in your bosom drowning, for breath anew.

A great dedication to Goddess Durga slay demons of ego, with your ten arms thwart. Let your left eye control my greatest weakness- desire, the right spur me on to righteousness. Once ego is annihilated and excess desire killed.... the mind will automatically turn to righteousness!
