Thrifty Nifty Fifty! Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Thrifty Nifty Fifty!

My brother found a girlfriend
Whose name is Corelynn.
Suddenly in a wedding gown
She packed and moved right in.

Her voice was a little horsey,
No, No! that’s what she rode!
She roped and branded my brother,
And put that ring right in his nose!

She really is a beauty,
Quite a catch, my brother’s prize.
Her humor and her laughter
Seems to glow right from her eyes..

She loves to cook cow patty stew.
Sometimes substitutes horsey poo.
In that there are chunked carrots,
But cows eat tasteless ferrets.

With a buck she sure is thrifty,
Smarter than her age, now “FIFTY! ”
So, Happy Birthday to our sis,
They don’t come any better than this!
