expensive furs and lingerie, luxuries galore...
all to win a lady's hand, his love from days of yore.

Sweetly scented roses and flowers of rarest hue
diamonds and emeralds, gold and silver too...
all to live in wonderland where forever may come true.

A latest model motor car, a villa or two in Spain
a holiday upon the moon, there and back again...
all to woo his only love with dreams of memory lane.
