With the end of the day
With the last sun ray
Tranquillity roams my mind
I leave my thoughts behind

As the stars come out to play
As the moon's light is on display
My soul ascends to peace
My anxiety I hastily release

While the animals lay to rest
While the children's games arrest
The world I can finally admire
After a day of being on a wire

When the world is all silent
When everyone ceases violent
That's when I truly thrive
That's when I feel alive
