Through A Killers Eyes Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Through A Killers Eyes

Intoxicating, I feel it surge in my nose
The smell of falter electrifies my heart
Each inhaled breath of it
Makes my mouth water

Desire, it swells in my eyes
The urge to draw blood
Is so utterly irresistible
I need to feel the flesh in my teeth

Metallic, oh how it paints my pallet
Sends a wave of ardor down my throat
I can’t help but salivate as I get closer
I can already image the reapers scythe

Oh but the chase, it’s always the best
A feeling of all about freedom
Finds its way in all my limbs
To play my hand at the judgment gates

My eyes so condescending
As they play on the façade of love
When you fall into my arms
The blood will fall from your skin

I’ll tear carefully, to make sure it scars
I wouldn’t want you to get away unscathed
That wouldn’t be very fair of me
To promise the tango of violence and let you down

So with the quick nip of my teeth
Against the soft warmth of your cheek
I tear the flesh free to relish in your horror
As my glittering pearls take flight

The light is my witness
As the blood pools towards the moon
It’s reaching hands are so desperate
But I stomp in it’s way

You crumble beneath my triumphant hands
And I smile at you tenderly as I grasp your life
Deep in my hands and extinguish the burning fire
That keeps you to this life of ours

Is it murder or am I freeing your soul
Liberating you from the cruel world
That left you broken and discarded
No I believe I am your savior, not your reaper
