Through Darkness To Light Poem by Herbert Dry

Through Darkness To Light

My vision is fading away
As light escaping from the day
My pulse weak and slow
As a person wading in deep snow
Gentle voices I do not hear
I am alone but have no fear
Like a great city turning on it's lights
My tomorrows burning bright
From this body I am torn
I stand now in spiritual form
To this earth I am no longer bound
I fly through time and space without a sound
