Through My Eyes Poem by Moth Harris

Through My Eyes

Can you see through my eyes?
Can you read these thoughts in my mind?
Every second another piece of me dies.
If you could what would you find?

Everything's a shade of gray,
and you have to pretend that you're happy every other day.
Watching the words that I say,
because I need to save some for each night that I pray.

My eyes are brown just like my hair,
I tend to stop and stare with every thought,
The words in my head are all that've I got,
So go ahead give it a shot, what will you find?

Everything's a shade of gray,
and you see this cold, dark world everyday,
Living in dissaray,
While everyone thinks and believes that you're okay.

Could you see through my eyes?
Could you feel my broken heart?
Would you miss the blue in the skies,
As your heart beat tears you apart?
