Through My Eyes Poem by Jetty J Newnham

Through My Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Through My Eyes

I see versions of myself in the eyes of all I see
In the black eyes of the drunks,
The desperate expectation in the eyes of junkies.
In the eyes of children, for them life is a dream.
I want to say to them all. It's okay.
I’d say don’t lose your dreams.
It’s what makes you, you!
