[Randolph to Isabella]
Through restless eyes I see her in the mist,
As my eyes begin to fill up with tears.
It seems so long since the last time we kissed—
Her image then suddenly disappears.
I see her reappear in a clearing,
Walking through the trees next to the water.
A timeless beauty, always appearing
As Aphrodite's most cherished daughter.
I shall sail on into the break of day,
When our boat finally reaches the sand.
Realizing that I am home to stay—
Feeling the caress of her precious hand.
We go on despite the captain's warning,
And pray we see sunlight in the morning.
