Through The Ballast Poem by Oyekake Satty (O S) Joshua - Amopho

Through The Ballast

Rating: 5.0

The wind harsh and opposing beating
And though I prayed in tears and hurts
He prevented not the approaching gale
Though I repined and writhe in pain
And recoiled in this severe anguish
With condemnation and discontent
He did not hold back the poundage
Though the waves drove me to Him
He did not shield me from its path
But rode with me through the ballast
And when the wind had beat loudest
And the waves had severed my pride
The glory of His refulgence unveiled
And refined me, and assured my place
I learned, in the secret of His presence
His Voice speaks clearly in my heart
Undeterred by chaos, fear or doubt
