Saw you walking towards the bridal path,
through the glass of our bedroom window,
virile bucks aroused by your scent of Jaipur,
for they too enjoy the sweetness of mornings honey,
as they lie 'neath trees, pushing'gainst grooved bark.
Hungry bucks, alerted to your presence;
rousing young stags to fawn and feast;
dancing, darting over sticks and branches,
scurrying for refuge...from the likes of you,
chasing fertile doe's, in rising heat,
as they lie down, hoofs raised in sexual angst.
Now, see what you've done to natures cradle,
rocking it to and fro from its habitat,
teasing the gentlest of animals kingdom-
driving them mad from your feminine scent
You're just too damn sexy, is all!
And, that's why you should have stayed,
on the foggy side of our bedroom window;
for instead of walking you could have been -
dancing, darting...'neath smooth satin sheets,
leaving the deer to fawn with their own,
while we could have been sharing
our own morning taste of honey.
