Through Thin Windows Poem by Steven Federle

Through Thin Windows

Through thin windows I see
young leaves rising to twilight storm,
blue mist shimmering
on quick-silver street,
as glowing grass drops
into blackening copse.

With Stygian hand
has night claimed
declining day.
