You out there with your friends
While I'm laid up in bed
Waiting on you
Time is passing
Clocks are moving
And you still are not here
As I'm watching my watch
And i hear
Tick, Tick, Tick
All I could think about is
YOU
Who's face you are smiling in?
Who got your attention
While I'm laid up
Looking a fool
The texts I've been sending
With little to no response
All i could think
Why would you rather choose going out then
Spending time with me?
Am I not good enough?
Or am I just overthinking?
No, no
I'm royalty
And you should know that
As I lay here in this bed
Trying to connect everything together
All I want is you next to me
Cuddling up to me
But instead you out with
Friends
And I'm here
Hearing my watch go
