Til I'M Gone Poem by Brendan Duffy

Til I'M Gone

He waits patiently in the storm
Rain pouring down his face
He longs to be warm
Within her beauty and grace

His hopes and dreams lie with her
The one he longs for
His heart beckons to reconnect
With her heart and spirit

She wonders, staring out the window
She misses his soft silent touch
Her lips quiver like the snow
So much time they have lost

He thinks of no-one but her
Dreams haunt him every nite
Memories flash of their time in the summer
But only time will tell, maybe, might

Til I'm gone
